About the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association

The Truckee Downtown Merchants Association (TDMA) is a nonprofit association of local businesses in Truckee working for the economic, social, cultural and environmental vitality of Historic Downtown Truckee. Founded in 1972, the TDMA has been integral to downtown historic preservation, beautification projects, and infrastructure improvements, as well as the recruitment and support of small businesses that are the cornerstone of our vibrant community. The organization also sponsors community events and has donated thousands of dollars for local scholarships.

The goals of the organization are:
